CASA CATTAN is located in the beautiful hills of Lucchesia, West of Lucca.
This old house has been skillfully remodeled by its owners in compliance with its original characteristics and is located in an old "borgo".
Spending you time here will be like going back in the past!
Half way between Lucca and Versilia, the house is only 20 minutes away (by car) from the sea and the night life of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio.
At just 15 minutes, you will find the Tennis Club of Vicopelago and, in the same amount of time, you will reach the old town center of Lucca with its "pavet" streets, its many churches, its wonderful Walls shadowed by age-old trees...
In the surrounding area, you will find the noble Ville Lucchesi (Villa Torrigiani, Villa Bernardini, Villa Mansi, Villa Oliva, ..) with their amazing gardens "all'italiana" and their fountains.
The street that leads to CASA CATTAN (the ancient street of the village) is pretty narrow and, therefore, big vehicles cannot get through.
Our guests can park their cars in the public parking lot (1 km away) and the owners can take them to the house with their car.
A short staircase (stone and "cotto") leads to the main door.
Inside you will find: an entry room; a living room with a fireplace and satellite TV; a full kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, American coffee machine, toaster.
Upstairs there are: 1 master bedroom; 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and the possibility to add a third bed; 1 bathroom with shower.
In the basement: a big bathroom with a circular shower; a play room with access to the terrace and a small swimming pool.
Outside you will find a panoramic terrace equipped with table and chairs where you can dine enjoying the sweet taste of Lucca's olive oil and wines.
